India’s most expensive houses and their owners
Recently, Zapki, a home sellers solutions company, has shared a report, which has revealed the list of India’s biggest property sales since 2021.
Topping the list is Radhakishan Damani, an Indian billionaire investor, businessman and founder of D Mart, who bought the most expensive house in India in April 2021.

61,914 sq ft residence is 90 years old
According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Damani is the 72nd richest person in the world with a net worth of $19.7 billion.

While most of the business people were included in this list, the names of some other popular personalities were also present.
The most famous was an investment banker-turned-writer, Chetan Bhagat, who bought a house worth Rs 11.6 crore in Delhi in June last month.
Besides them, Reliance Jio and Reliance Retail director Manoj Modi also bought a house worth one crore rupees last year.
