Royal Enfield: Royal Enfield had a very good response on the Himalayan model as many people bought it. However, some complaints regarding it’s weight and it being underpower were received. Due to which, the manufacturer has come up with a new model, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450cc. Royal Enfield is currently working on it and so many people are excited about the same. This model will be an updated version of the Himalayan model. It is expected that Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will be unvealed later in 2023. This motorcycle may spawn several others in its segment.

Watch here. This video has caught everyone’s attention and revealed few things about the upcoming Himalayan 450. There has been no much updates in the design of the Himalayan 450. Just like the Himalayan, this also comes with an external cage whose work is to protect the motorcycle when it falls. Other than that, it can also be used to by the rider to mount jerry cans on it for carrying additional fuel.

Engine of Royal Enfield Himalayan 450cc

The Himalayan 450 will consist of a larger 450 cc engine and also will come with the first liquid-cooled motor from Royal Enfield. Not much of an information regarding the outputs has been known yet. The new engine is expected to come with a 6-speed gearbox. However, it is being expected that the new model will produce 40-45 bhp and have 40 Nm of peak torque. This is at least twice as that of the Himalayan. The Himalayan comes with 25 bhp of power and 32 Nm of peak torque. Moreover, the current Himalayan has an oil-cooled 411 cc.

The Himalayan 450 will feature or LED headlamp which is also available in the new 650 Twins and the Super Meteor 650 models. Other than that, the motorcycle will come with brake lights integrated into turn indicators along with a tall windscreen. It will consist of a larger fuel tank also. Some reports suggest that the motorcycle will come with tubeless spoked wheels. The price of the new model will surely be much higher than the current one. The Himalayan is on sale right now. It is priced at ₹2.16 lakh (ex-showroom). It can be expected that the new one will be atleast ₹2.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
