Mercedes-Benz has launched the Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ flagship EV in India. The performance electric sedan has already started arriving at local dealerships for customer previews. Now the company has removed the curtain on its price.

Key Specifications of Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+
The new EQS 53 4MATIC+ electric sedan is built on the AMG.EA platform. It has a 107.8kWh battery pack. Apart from this, it is equipped with two electric motors, both of which are connected to the AMG Performance 4MATIC+ AWD system. The company claims that it can get a total power of 658bhp and peak torque of 950Nm.
The electric sedan gets a four-link axle at the front and a multi-link axle at the rear. It gets AMG Ride Control+ suspension with electronically controlled adjustable damping coupled with rear-axle steering.
Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ top speed
The electric sedan can do a top speed of 250 kmph with an optional package and do 0-100 kmph in just 3.4 seconds. Whereas in the original form, it can achieve a top speed of 220 kmph and accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.8 seconds.
Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+ Range
The Mercedes-AMG EQS comes with a total of 5 dynamic select driving modes. These include Slippery, Comfort, Sport, Sport+ and Individual modes. Mercedes-Benz claims that the electric sedan will provide a range of 570 km on a single charge.
Charging of Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4MATIC+
The battery pack of this car can be DC fast charged on 200kW supply. At the same time, it can be charged up to 300 km in 19 minutes. Also using the onboard charger, it can be easily charged with a 22kW AC supply.

Mercedes-AMG EQS 53 4Matic Plus has been launched at a starting price of Rs 2.45 crore. This price is as per ex-showroom.
