Petrol diesel price in Pakistan are skyrocketing as prices of both have increased by 35 rupees and kerosene and light diesel oil prices have jumped by 18 rupees, Pakistan Finance Minister Ishak Dar announced in a televised speech 10 minutes before the price hikes went into effect.
“The government has announced new prices for petroleum products which will be effective from 11:00 on 29 January 2023. High Speed Diesel – Rs 262.80 per liter MS Gasoline – Rs 249.80 per liter Kerosene – Rs 189.83 per liter Diesel – Rs 187 per liter,” said Ministry of Finance, Pakistan. tweeted.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar further informed ” we decided to raise the minimum price of these four products at the direction of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif” despite international prices and rupee devaluation, Dawn newspaper reported.
