A miraculous rescue has stunned everyone in the world as in Turkey a 45-year-old man was pulled from the rubble 278 hours which is 12 days after a 7.8-magnitude earthquake devastated the southern province of Hatay.
Despite the freezing weather, rescue teams have been working restlessly to find survivors, and have succeeded in locating several people, including a 14-year-old boy, in the past few days. Although the number of survivors found has dwindled, search efforts continue around the clock.
Images on social media captured the moment when Hakan Yasinoglu was carefully carried on a stretcher through the ruins of a collapsed building. The team made sure he was tied to the stretcher properly to prevent a fall and covered with a golden thermal jacket. His face was not visible, and the mood on the ground was somber, in contrast to the jubilant celebrations that typically accompany rescues.

Along with Yasinoglu, three other people were rescued late on Thursday and early on Friday. Despite all challenging conditions, rescue teams remain committed to their mission, determined to find any remaining survivors.
