Apple CEO Tim Cook to launch company’s first store in India, to visit PM Modi

Apple is finally coming to India. The company will in a week launch its first retails store in the country. Tim Cook is all set to visit India and also have a talk with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He will be meeting with Modi on Wednesday as per a government official statement. Although there is no official statement regarding the same by the PM office yet.

The Tech giant Apple will be launching retail shops in Mumbai as well as Delhi. A private event has been organised by Apple BKC on Monday in Mumbai followed by which the store will be open for customers on Tuesday. Where as in Delhi, the inauguration will take place on Thursday in Saket mall. It is the second outlet in India.

The meeting of Tim Cook and PM Modi comes at a time when the centre is attacking Apple’s partners like foxcon Technology group and Pegatron Corp. It was proposed by the Apple team for a meeting of Cook with PM Modi. Let us also tell you that cook first visited India in 2016. Tim Cook himself will be launching the company’s retail stores in India.
