Ailing Padma Shri winner Kamala Pujari was forcibly made to dance in ICU by a social worker, VIDEO VIRAL

A shocking case has come to light from Odisha. Where Padma Shri awardee Kamala Pujari, 71, was forced to dance inside the ICU of a government hospital. Kamala, where he was admitted for kidney ailment. Now the video of her dancing is becoming increasingly viral on social media. The social worker also allegedly took several selfies with the priest.

Social worker forcibly made Kamala Pujari dance

Members of the Paraja tribal community in Odisha have demanded action against a social worker who allegedly forced their icon to dance inside the hospital before being discharged. In the video, social worker Mamta Behera was also seen dancing with him. Pujari told television channels in Koraput district, “I never wanted to dance, but I was forced to do so. I repeatedly refused, but they did not listen. I was sick and tired. Harish Muduli, president of the tribal community’s union ‘Paraja Samaj’, said that if the state government fails to take action against the social worker, his members will take to the streets.

Kamala Pujari received Padma Shri in 2019

Kamala Pujari was awarded Padma Shri in 2019 for promoting organic farming and preserving more than 100 varieties of indigenous seeds of various crops including paddy, with kidney problem at SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack was admitted. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had wished him a speedy recovery. The incident happened on Monday before he was discharged from the hospital. Ms Behera said she had no ill intentions behind the act, and only wanted to “remove the priest’s laziness”.
