Telangana: Former CM NT Rama Rao’s daughter Uma Maheshwari dies at her residence in Hyderabad

Telangana: Uma Maheshwari, daughter of TDP founder and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister NT Rama Rao, has died. Uma Maheshwari was found hanging at her residence in Hyderabad on Monday. According to the report of news agency ANI, the police has sent the body to the local government hospital for postmortem. Also, a case is being registered under Section 174 CrPC.

Uma Maheshwari was facing health issues

It is being told that Uma Maheshwari was facing health issues for the last few months and was undergoing treatment. Uma Maheshwari was the youngest of 12 children of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) founder NT Rama Rao. Former Union Minister and BJP leader Daggubati Purandeshwari and Nara Bhuvneshwari are his sisters. Nara Bhuvaneshwari is the wife of TDP President and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

Uma Maheshwari was the youngest of four sisters

Former CM Chandrababu Naidu and his son Nara Lokesh and other family members have reached the residence of Uma Maheshwari. Uma Maheshwari’s brother N Balakrishna, who is a Tollywood actor and TDP MLA. Also other family members living abroad have been informed about the demise of Uma Maheshwari. NT Rama Rao was an Indian actor, film producer and politician. He served as the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for seven years in three terms. He died in 1996 at the age of 72. Uma Maheshwari was the youngest among NTR’s four daughters. Recently, many family members came together in the wedding of Uma Maheshwari’s daughter.
