The shocking news is that Sudhier Varma, an aspiring actor who works primarily in the Telugu film industry, died by suicide on Monday. The news of his death comes as a rude shock to the Tollywood film industry. His funeral is said to be held today or tomorrow at Vizag.
According to several media reports, the Telugu actor-director has decided to take extreme measures at his residence in Vizag due to personal issues. His death was confirmed on Twitter by his colleague Sudhakar Komakula.
Sudheer Varma is well known for his performance in the film ‘Kundanapu Bomma’ directed by K Raghavendra Rao. Sudhakar Komakula, who co-starred with Sudheer in the film, announced Sudheer’s passing on his social media accounts. In his tweet, he mentioned how sweet and gentle the actor was. He also recalled working with Sudheer.
Sudhakar said “Sudheer! @sudheervarmac. A very lovely and warm man’ It was so nice to know him and work with him! I can’t digest the fact that you are no more! Om Shanti!”
Several other actors took to social media to express their shock and outrage. However, it is also worth pointing out that Sudheer should not be mistaken for the Telugu filmmaker of the same name.
After making her film debut in 2013 with ‘Swami La La’, Sudhi Varma rose to prominence in 2016 with ‘Kundanapu Bomma’ directed by Bara Mullapudi. Sudheer Varma’s performance in this film was praised but she never had more opportunities in the film industry. Early evidence suggests that the actor’s excessive behavior in Visakhapatnam was motivated by personal issues.
