Another child artist is ready to transform into a male protagonist in a Telugu film. Remember the kid who punched Brahmanandam in the stomach in Athadu? Well, that kid is Deepak Saroj who is famous for appearing as a child actor in a handful of films which include big names like Balakrishna, Prabhas, Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, Ravi Teja and directors Trivikram Srinivas, Sukumar and Boyapati Sreenu.
After appearing in many popular films like Athadu, Arya, Pournami, Bhadra and Legend, Deepak is headlining the film Siddharth Roy directed by debutant V Yeshasvi, a former colleague of Harish Shankar and Vamshi Paidipally. Siddharth Roy will be co-produced by Jaya Adapaka, Pradeep Pudi and Sudhakar Boina from Shree Radha Damodar Studios and Vihaan & Vihin Creations.
The film’s title and first look were revealed by head director Harish Shankar and veteran producers. Captioned ‘Story of an Unusual Life’, Deepak Saroj is seen smoking two cigarettes with a red rose in his hand in one of the posters while sporting his long hair and beard. In another poster, he is kissing his on-screen romantic interest, played by Tanvi Negi.
Nadini, Anand, Kalyani Natarajan and Mathew Varghese play other pivotal roles in the film, which is cinematographed by Sam K Naidu. Radhan composes the music for Siddharth Roy and Prawin Pudi is the editor. Siddharth Roy has already finished filming in beautiful locations in Hyderabad and Vizag. Post-production on the intense romance is progressing at a rapid pace.
