Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi’s Selfiee had high hopes before it released and turned out to be a big disappointment. On 27 February, the movie saw a big drop in its box office and minted less than Rs 2 crore in India on Monday. Selfiee is the official remake of the Malayalam film, Driving License, which features Prithviraj Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaramoodu.
The film despite having Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi minted just Rs 10 crore during its opening weekend. On its fourth day at the box office, the film is estimated to have earned Rs 1.90 crore in India (nett).

Selfiee shows a Bollywood superstar, Vijay Kumar, who needs to get a new driver’s license from an RTO officer. However, due to misunderstanding, war of words starts between the two, eventually escalating into a feud which is played out in front of the entire country.
