Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday greeted the countrymen on Ganesh Chaturthi and wished that there should always be harmony and brotherhood. Modi also participated in a religious program at the residence of his cabinet colleague Piyush Goyal.

A puja program was organized on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Where Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi and industrialist Sunil Bharti Mittal also reached there for the worship program.
The festival of Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with pomp across the country including Maharashtra. Thousands of devotees across the country celebrate Ganesh Utsav. The government had banned the Ganesh Chaturthi festival during the Corona period.
On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, apart from Prime Minister Modi, big leaders including President Draupadi Murmu congratulated. The President wrote in the tweet, “Vighnaharta and Mangalmurti Lord Ganesha are symbols of knowledge, accomplishment and good fortune. I wish that with the blessings of Shri Ganesh, there should be communication of happiness, peace and prosperity in everyone’s life.
