Delhi on target of Lashkar, ISI and Jaish! Intelligence agencies alert the police before Independence Day

New Delhi : Intelligence agencies have issued an alert to the Delhi Police regarding the Independence Day celebrations to be held at the Red Fort, the capital of India. Alerts from intelligence agencies said that before the Independence Day celebrations, Delhi is on the target of terrorist organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed and ISI. The agencies have alerted the Delhi Police that these terrorist organizations can hatch any kind of conspiracy to terrorize Delhi on Independence Day.

Terrorist organizations can target veteran leaders

According to media reports, the Intelligence Bureau (IB) has directed the Delhi Police to be in alert mode regarding Independence Day. In its nearly 10-page report, the IB has expressed the possibility of conspiracy of terrorist organizations Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed. It has been said in the IB report that ISI wants to blast them by giving them logistic help. In this, buildings of big institutions including many veteran leaders can be targeted.

Shinde Abe also mentioned in IB report

Media reports said that the IB has also mentioned former Japanese Prime Minister Shinde Abe, who was assassinated last month, in the alert issued to the Delhi Police. In the instructions given by the IB to the Delhi Police, it has been said that strict rules should be implemented for entering the Independence Day celebrations to be held at the Red Fort. Along with this, IB in its report, referring to the incident of Udaipur and Amravati, has said that there will have to be a strict vigil on the radical groups and their activities in crowded places.

Instructions for vigil in areas with Rohingya and Afghan citizens

The IB report said that terrorist organizations Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed can use UAVs and para gliders to terrorize Delhi. Therefore, the Border Security Force (BSF) has been instructed to be vigilant on the borders. In its report, the IB has also directed to be vigilant on those areas where Rohingya and Afghan citizens are residing.
