NTA will conduct Phase 2 of CUET UG from August 4 to August 20

National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the admit card for Phase 2 of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2022 being conducted for admission to graduation courses.

The Phase 2 of CUET UG will be conducted from August 4 to August 20.

Students who had applied to appear in this exam can now download the admit card by visiting the official website of CUET.

Around 6,80,000 candidates likely to appear in Phase 2
CUET UG is being conducted for approximately 14,90,000 candidates. Around 8,10,000 candidates had applied for the Phase 1 exam, while around 6,80,000 candidates have applied for Phase 2.

CUET UG Phase 1 exam was conducted on 15th, 16th, 19th and 20th July in 160 cities in which 76.48 percent students appeared.

Examination will be conducted in two shifts at 554 examination centers
The candidates preparing for CUET UG should be informed that the Phase 2 exam will be computer based and will be conducted in two shifts at 554 exam centres.

The first shift exam will be conducted from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and the second shift exam will be held from 3:00 pm to 6:45 pm.

A total of 175 questions will be asked in this exam and it will have three parts. There will be negative marking of one number for wrong answer.

How to download admit card
To download the admit card, first of all visit the official website of CUET UG www.cuet.samarth.ac.in.

Now click on ‘CUET Admit Card 2022’ tab after which you will see a login window on the screen.

Now enter your Application Number and Password in the login window and click on the ‘Login’ button.

After this your CUET UG Admit Card will be displayed on the screen.

Now download your admit card and take a print out of it.

It is mandatory to carry the identity card to the examination center
All the candidates are advised to carry their Identity Card along with their admit card for appearing in the examination. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the exam without CUET UG Admit Card.

Changes can be made in the exam center or exam date in special circumstances
Candidates will not be able to change the exam date and allotted center. However, NTA may change the examination center or date of examination in case of exigencies.

For this, the candidate has to request change in the examination center or date of examination by contacting NTA phone number 011-40759000 or e-mail id [email protected]

Thereafter NTA will consider the request of the candidate and decide accordingly.

How many universities will get admission under CUET?
Let us inform that in the academic session 2022-23, under CUET UG, students will get admission in 44 Central Universities, 12 State Universities, 11 Deemed Universities and 19 Private Universities in the country.
