Holidays in December 2022 vary by state and territory across the country as some holidays are national holidays while others are treated as local holidays.
Several bank branches in several states remain closed due to the festivities. Banks in India are closed for a total of 15 days in December. However, RBI has made clear that this will not be applied uniformly across India and will be different in all states and territories.
