Bracewell scored the third fastest century for New Zealand
The dashing all-rounder from New Zealand scored the second ODI century of his career on Wednesday. The left-handed batsman completed his 100th century in just 57 balls. Bracewell also scored the fastest century for New Zealand in ODI cricket against India. Not only this, he also became the third fastest batsman to score a century for New Zealand. Second fastest century against India
This is the second fastest century against India in ODIs. Earlier, Shahid Afridi scored a century against India in Kanpur ODI in 2005 in just 45 balls, which is still a record. Not only this, he also matched Dhoni’s record of scoring two centuries while batting at number seven.
Bracewell made his international debut in March 2022
Bracewell is an all-rounder and made his international debut for the New Zealand cricket team against the Netherlands in March 2022. Bracewell was named in New Zealand’s Test squad against England two months later in May 2022.
Doug Bracewell’s cousin is Michael
He is the cousin of current international player Doug Bracewell and comedian Melanie Bracewell. Michael started playing cricket at the age of five.
