BJP leader Parasuram Chaturvedi condoled the death and said Ashwini Chaubey said he had made sacrifices for farmers. Union Minister of State Ashwini Chaubey’s motorcade met with an accident on Sunday evening, injuring five policemen. The accident happened when the Union Minister was going from Buxar to Patna. Meanwhile, the car overturned and fell into the ditch. The minister shared a video of the overturned escort vehicle being inspected on Twitter. The Innova car in which the Union Minister was traveling was right behind the escort car.

The injured policemen have been admitted to the Dumron Sub-Divisional Hospital, two are in a critical condition. After the accident, Chaubey’s personal security personnel and other associates rescued him and admitted him to the hospital. Ashwini Chaubey said the police van fell into a water-filled ditch. Our security personnel and other followers traveling with me broke the windows of the vehicle and rescued them. Two policemen were seriously injured.

The Union Minister said that two policemen were seriously injured and hence they have been admitted to Patna AIIMS for better treatment. The accident happened near Dumron on the Mathil-Narayanapur road. Ashwini Kumar Chaubey is a Member of Parliament from Buxar and Minister of State for Environment and Forests in the Narendra Modi government. A few days ago, he came to Patna to meet the agitating farmers in Chawsa and faced stiff resistance from them.
