New Delhi: Former Indian team captain and bowler Bishan Singh Bedi met former Pakistan captain Intikhab Alam in Kartarpur. In fact, Bishan Singh Bedi, who had come to Kartapurpur, had expressed his desire to meet Intikhab Alam. After this, when the matter came to Intikhab Alam, he came from Lahore to Kartarpur to meet him. How desperate the two cricketers are to see each other, Intikhab Alam traveled a distance of 140 km to meet his old friend.

At this point, different expressions of happiness and satisfaction are visible on the faces of Bishan Singh Bedi and Intikhab Alam. There are four women in the picture. Intikhab Alam is the captain of Pakistan team. Intikhab has played 47 Tests and 4 ODIs for Pakistan. Intikhab led Pakistan in 17 Test matches from 1969 to 1975. He also served as captain in 4 ODIs.

Pakistan made dishes for cricketers
Bishan Singh Bedi is the best left arm spin bowler. Bedi took 266 wickets in 67 Test matches. During his 13-year career, Bedi was part of India’s spin quartet of Erapalli Prasanna, Srinivas Venkitaraghav and Bhagwat Chandrasekhar. Bedi’s love for Pakistani cricketers is not new. The former Indian captain and legendary spinner once invited Zaheer Abbas, Javed Miandad, Mudassar Nasser and other Pakistani cricketers for dinner in Australia. A delicious meal was prepared for twenty five guests.
