Groom’s friend Abhay Sachan also came from Kanpur to attend the wedding in Rewa. By 12 o’clock in the night, all the baratis were going to the wedding garden with singing and dancing. Abhay Sachan was dancing with other barathis despite the bitter cold. After a while, he suddenly fell down while dancing and there was a commotion in the place. Band Baja stopped immediately.
Abhay was rushed to the Sanjay Gandhi Memorial Hospital but by then he was dead. A video of this incident of falling on the ground while dancing has also come out. Abhay was a resident of Hansapuram AG Awas Vikas Colony in Kanpur, UP. The relatives reached Rewa after getting the information. The body was handed over to the relatives after postmortem at the hospital.
