LG Vs Delhi Govt: You Will Be Proved Wrong... Manish Sisodia's Letter Bomb Against LG

New Delhi: The conflict between the Lt. Governor and the Aam Aadmi Party government is at its peak. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has sent a letter to LG VK Saxena. Sisodia accused the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) of stalling the Mohalla Clinic system before the elections. According to Sisodia’s letter, as part of the conspiracy, the health and finance department officials have paralyzed the system of mohalla clinics. The AAP leader demanded immediate suspension of those officials and registration of an FIR. Sisodia challenged that if the LG did not do so, it would be proved that he had ‘done wrong to the people of Delhi by misusing the powers of the services for electoral gain’. Sisodia said that some officials were deliberately rotating the files so that the doctors of the Mohalla Clinic were not paid during the month of October-November. All examinations were stopped so that the doctors who came to see the patients without being paid would not interrupt their examinations. Electricity bills of Mohalla Clinic were also stopped. Rent of clinics operating in rented premises is not deposited.

Sisodia wrote in the letter that he had spoken to some officials of the health and finance departments. The deputy chief minister claims that the officials told him in hushed tones that the LG had strict instructions to suspend the MCD if the money was paid before the elections. In his letter to the LG, Sisodia said that all officers are afraid of you because you have services.

The Delhi Deputy Chief Minister requested the LG to find the officials responsible for this conspiracy and immediately suspend them. In a tone of challenge, Sisodia wrote that if strict action is not taken against them, people will say that the officials hatched this conspiracy before the elections on your instructions. He also noted in the letter that if this conspiracy was carried out by officials, it is unfortunate. If you do not take action, it will be proved that you have abused the people of Delhi for electoral gains by misusing the powers of the services,” Sisodia said.
