The grand alliance is now planning to include Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Prasad Yadav, former Chief Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi and JD(U) National President Rajeev Ranjan alias Lalan Singh in the election campaign, keeping in mind the challenges from rivals. Apart from him, all top leaders of the seven-party grand alliance will participate in the campaign. According to JD(U) state president Umesh Kushwaha, ‘The Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister will jointly campaign for the Grand Alliance candidate on December 2. On November 30, Tejashwi, Manjhi and Lalan Singh will seek votes for him. The contest will be one-sided as our candidate is far ahead in the race.
Owaisi and Sahni made the game interesting
What worries the JDU candidate is the emergence of two players in the election scenario – AIMIM and Mukesh Sahni. AIMIM fielded its candidate again in the elections. On the other hand, Sahni fielded Neelabh Kumar. Lalu’s brother-in-law Sadhu Yadav completed the right task. He is campaigning against the Grand Alliance candidate. Sadhu also says on what basis RJD can expect the victory of the grand alliance’s candidate. They have already left the seat to JD(U) and fled. In the by-elections, the grand alliance will have to suffer a huge defeat.
BJP is confident of winning
The BJP said that the wind is blowing against the grand alliance and no one can win the elections. According to Samrat Choudhary, Leader of Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Council, ‘by denying a ticket to an EBC candidate, the JD(U) is showing disrespect to this community even though the seat was won by a person from this community’.
