Bollywood meets South India
Due to the lockdown, all the movies in the cinema world are waiting for release. So this year because the release dates are less and the movies are more, the clash of movies will start from the beginning of the year itself. The year began with two superstars of Tamil cinema clashing, Thalapathy Vijay’s Varisu and Ajith Kumar’s Thunu. The special thing is that both of them created a new record by earning more than 50 crores before the release. In such a situation, if the content of the films is strong, then there is no need to worry about conflict. The match will be between Bollywood and South India on April 28. Karan Johar’s Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer Rocky and Rani will release on this day. Karan Johar is returning to the directorial field after a long time with this film. Its opposite Tamil film Ponniyan Selvan 2 will be released. The first part of this film earned more than 400 crores worldwide last year. In such a situation, there will be a tough competition between the two films.
Compete during the summer holidays
During the summer vacation of schools in India in the month of June, big Hollywood movies have been releasing for the past several years. At the same time, the big stars of Bollywood are also releasing their movies during this time to appeal to the family class. This summer too, there is going to be a tough competition between Bollywood and Hollywood. On June 2, Shah Rukh Khan will release his second film of the year, Jaawan. Directed by South Indian director Atlee, the film stars South Indian superstar Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara alongside King Khan. At the same time, Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, the next film in the hugely popular Spider-Man series, will be released against SRK for kids and family classes. Meanwhile, the much awaited Prabhas’ Aadipurush will release on 16th of this month. The film was earlier slated to release on January 13 but was postponed to improve the VFX. However, it now has to compete directly with DC’s very popular The Flash.
Mega Clash for Diwali and Christmas
The conflict at the Hindi box office continues throughout the year. Ranbir Kapoor’s next film Animal will release on August 11. Directed by Kabir Singh fame director Sandeep Vanga Reddy, the film stars Rashmika Mandana alongside Ranbir. The first look of the film was much appreciated. On the other hand, Sunny Deol will release Ghadar 2, the sequel of his superhit film Ghadar. On the other hand, The Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri will release his next film The Vaccine War on Independence Day itself. After this, Salman Khan’s next film in the superhit Tiger series, Tiger 3, will release on Diwali. Meanwhile, it is being discussed that Kamal Haasan, who gave a superhit film like Vikram last year, will release Indian 2, the second part of his superhit film Indian. The biggest clash of the year will be at Christmas. Superstar Shahrukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani’s Dangi with Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff’s Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan are also releasing. At the same time, these two films will compete with the superhit Aquaman sequel Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.
