Patna: Bihar is experiencing severe cold weather. However, the sun was visible in the capital Patna on Sunday. Because of that, the people got some relief. Meanwhile, a major update has come out from the Meteorological Centre. The Patna Meteorological Center has warned that severe cold is likely in the state for the next three days. The minimum temperature will drop by 4 to 6 degrees. Not only this, life has come to a standstill in most districts of the state due to fog. People come out of the house only in case of emergency.

The Patna Meteorological Center has said in its forecast that the minimum temperature in the state will drop rapidly in the next 72 hours, i.e. within three hours. The minimum temperature in the state will be 4 to 6 degrees Celsius. After this, no significant change is likely in the next two days. It is clear from this warning of the Meteorological Center that the disturbance of winter will intensify in the coming days. In such a situation, everyone needs to be extra careful.

There was a change in the weather in the state on Sunday morning. Seeing the sun during the day brings some relief to the people. However, soon, the cold again showed its effect in Patna, due to which the day temperature dropped by around 7 degrees. In the capital, Patna, the temperature reached 18.8 degrees on Sunday. Meanwhile, Deri recorded the highest mercury in the state. The maximum temperature here was 25.8 degrees. The maximum temperature was 21.3 degrees in Gaya, 18.1 degrees in Nalanda and 16.4 degrees in Muzaffarpur. A similar situation was observed in almost all the districts.

At present, it has been decided to open schools in most districts including Patna. Up to eight schools were closed but were open from Monday. However, the Patna administration has given special instructions regarding the timings of the school. Schools function only from 9.30 am to 3 pm.

The Meteorological Center has requested people to take special precautions in view of the current climate change. Not only this, the winter torture is going to increase for the next three days, in such a scenario, special attention needs to be paid to the health of children and the elderly.
