However, soon, the cold again showed its effect in Patna, due to which the day temperature dropped by around 7 degrees. In the capital, Patna, the temperature reached 18.8 degrees on Sunday. Meanwhile, Deri recorded the highest mercury in the state. The maximum temperature here was 25.8 degrees. The maximum temperature was 21.3 degrees in Gaya, 18.1 degrees in Nalanda and 16.4 degrees in Muzaffarpur. A similar situation was observed in almost all the districts.

At present, it has been decided to open schools in most districts including Patna. Up to eight schools were closed but were open from Monday. However, the Patna administration has given special instructions regarding the timings of the school. Schools function only from 9.30 am to 3 pm.
