When it comes to amazing custom motorcycles, you can’t overlook Thailand’s K-Speed Custom. The store has already offered epic builds, including the completely ruined Honda Dax cafe racer, and the latest project takes the legacy even further. In fact, there are so many that it doesn’t look like the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 on which it is based.
Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 “Road Rocker” By K-Speed
The custom INT650, which the manufacturer calls the Road Rocker, is miles away from the real one, which is a compliment. From the start, Royal Enfield will no longer offer stock bodywork, telescopic forks or wheels. Instead, it’s inspired by the old-fashioned chopper, and features oversized 21-inch wheels and unlit fascia covered with a springer fork setup. A similar overhaul can be found at the rear, as K-Speed cut the subframe and replaced the springs with the included aftermarket shocks that look like a trick. There’s also a custom 16-inch wheeled outback secured with Brembo discs that help the RE squat beautifully. And the serrated rubber amp is more old-fashioned than ever.
Like everything else, ergonomics is very different from INT. Gone are the long, flat seats and a practical custom leather saddle with custom monkey hanger handlebars. This ensures a proper cruiser-like riding triangle with aftermarket foot control and a small fuel tank. Meanwhile, the only more or less stock component here is the 649cc, twin-cylinder mill. It sports a free-flow exhaust that sounds menacing, but it’s about an update.
Can You Buy This Custom Royal Enfield Bobber?
Sadly, it doesn’t look that way. K-Speed has not revealed whether this will be sold to the public or if they plan to reproduce something like this. But even so, it is a hassle to fly to Thailand to check and ship. So instead, we recommend that you contact K-Speed to find a way or order custom parts and hit them yourself. Still, there’s no denying that this is an incredible build of the Interceptor 650.
