Maruti occupied the highest number of places in the sales of top five cars

The clouds over the automobile sector during the Corona epidemic have almost dissipated. Companies seem to be emerging from the darkness of the slump in sales. However, the crisis of shortage of semiconductor chips due to global restrictions still persists.

As per the July sales report, like every time last month too, Maruti has occupied the highest number of positions in the top five car sales.

The list of best selling cars is as follows.

Maruti Suzuki WagonR

The country’s largest automaker Maruti Suzuki’s WagonR is maintaining its first position in terms of sales.

The hatchback sold 22,588 units in July 2022, up from 22,836 units in July last year. This is a slight drop of 1.09 per cent.

WagonR has remained the bestselling car of Maruti as well as the country for many years.

Its ex-showroom prices start from Rs 5.47 lakh and go up to Rs 7.08 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno

Maruti Suzuki’s premium hatchback car Baleno is in second place in sales.

Baleno sold 17,960 units in July 2022 as compared to 14,729 units in July last year. This is an increase of 21.94 per cent with an increase of 3,231 units.

The company launched the new facelift model of Baleno earlier this year, due to which the company has seen a good increase in its sales.

Its initial ex-showroom price is Rs 6.49 lakh.

Maruti Suzuki Swift

Maruti Suzuki Swift, which was launched in 2005, has been ranked third among the bestselling cars of July despite a decline of 4.86 percent in sales.

The starting ex-showroom price of Tata Nexon is Rs 7.59 lakh.
