Tata Safari starts at ₹5.45 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to ₹23.75 lakh (ex-showroom).It is available in three broad variants: XZ+, XZA and XZA+. Tata also offers different editions of the Safari, including Jet, Kaziranga, Dark, Gold, and Adventure variants. Among India’s three-row SUVs, it competes with Mahindra XUV700 and MG Hector Plus.
According to the spy shot, the upcoming Tata Safari model is said to have had no major changes in appearance. The headlights, taillights and bumper look the same as the models currently on sale. Expect some cosmetic changes in terms of design for the new Safari SUV.

Among the other expected changes in the next generation of Safari are improved safety mechanisms. Tata Motors will most likely introduce ADAS technology to its upcoming Tata Safari facelift model. It’s also likely to offer a 360-degree camera as well.
Tata Motors will most likely use the same 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine used under the hood of the older model. The engine is capable of producing a maximum output of 170 PS and a peak torque of 350 Nm. The engine is mated to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic torque converter unit.
