After all the waiting and espionage shooting, Royal Enfield has finally announced the official reveal date for the highly anticipated Super Meteor 650. As previously reported, the Super Meteor 650 will be showcased at EICMA in Milan on November 8th at 4pm (IST).
Royal Enfield released a teaser image of Super Meteor showing the rear of the motorcycle, and announced the release date as November 8. We’ve already got a very clear idea of what the bike looks like in every spy shot, but this teaser reveals some interesting details.
In the teaser image, the bike appears to be equipped with Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp rear tires. The latest test mules sighted outside Chennai showed that the bike was using CEAT Zoom Cruz tires, like the rest of RE’s 650cc lineup. Attention is paid to what rubber RE will ultimately show in the mass production version and whether it will change depending on the market.
The teaser image also gives you a rough idea of what Super Meteor’s going for. This looks very similar to what you see on the smaller Meteor 350. It has a large offset dial with an analog speedometer and a digital insert for travel. -Related information. There is also a Tripper navigation pod that could possibly be offered as an optional accessory with this dial. The freestanding round tail lamp with columnar LED DRL proves to be a Super Meteor that closely matches the design of the Meteor 350.
Interestingly, according to RE’s literature, only one new motorcycle will be shown at EICMA this year, suggesting that perhaps the Shotgun 650 is not far away. As far as India goes, Super Meteor can be expected to make its domestic debut at Rider Mania 2022, which is scheduled to take place in Goa between 18-20 November.
