Veteran bike maker Royal Enfield has released its sales report for the month of August.
The company has seen a huge increase in sales on a yearly basis. At the same time, the company has also benefited in terms of exports.
As per the sales report, the company managed to sell a total of 70,112 units last month, which is 52.88 percent higher than the bikes sold during the same period last year.

Let us tell you that in the month of August, Royal Enfield has sold a total of 70,112 bikes in the country. This is 52.88 percent higher than the 45,860 units sold by the company during the same period a year ago.
The company has also benefited in terms of exporting bikes to other countries. In August, the company was able to export a total of 7,220 units of bikes, which is about 6 percent more than the corresponding period last year.
The company’s 350cc vehicles have the highest demand
Royal Enfield’s 350cc bikes are in high demand in the Indian market. The company has sold a total of 62,236 units in this segment last month. At the same time, in other segments this figure stood at 7,876 units.
How was the company’s sales in July?
In July, the company sold a total of 55,555 bikes in the country. This was 29 per cent higher as compared to 44,038 units sold by the company during the same period a year ago.
During that time the company also benefited in terms of exporting bikes to other countries. In July, the company managed to export a total of 9,026 units of bikes. It was almost 90 percent more than last year.
Currently, the classic bike maker Royal Enfield is working on a plan to strengthen its hold in the markets. Only last month, the company has launched its most affordable Hunter 350 bike in India.
The company is about to launch three 650cc bikes – Meteor 650, Shotgun 650 and Bobber 650. At the same time, the company is going to launch the new Himalayan 450 in the adventure segment as well.
Recently Bobber 650 and Himalayan 450 have been spotted testing together.
