Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 to be launched in India soon! Know Engine and other details

Royal Enfield Will soon bring a new bike to India. The company has recently released the teaser of the Himalayan 450 bike. This new motorcycle will be more powerful than the Royal Enfield Himalayan 411.

Royal Enfield and their MD have shared a new video on their Instagram account. At first glance it looks like Himalayas. The caption of the video is – Testing 1, 2, 3. Although only the front LED headlight of the bike is visible in the teaser, its testing model has been seen before. According to the leaks, the new bike includes changes to the headlamp cowl, windshield, front beak, fuel tank and side panels.

According to reports, the luggage rack in the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 can be strengthened to boost the weight capacity. Riding comfort is expected to improve with the new 450cc model.

450cc engine will be given in Himalayan 450 bike. It can generate 40 bhp maximum power and 45 Nm peak torque. With this, the new Royal Enfield bike will be more powerful than the KTM 390 Adventure and BMW G310 GS. The current model of Himalayan generates 24.3bhp power and 32Nm peak torque. According to reports, the new bike will have a 6-speed transmission instead of the existing 5-speed unit.

The new Himalayan 450 will be equipped with USD forks at the front and will have better handling and control at high speeds. Apart from this, there will be a monoshock suspension in the rear of the bike. The braking system will get disc brakes at both the ends, which will be integrated with dual channel ABS as standard. As soon as the user selects the off-road ride mode, the rear ABS will automatically turn off. Along with this, drive modes like Road and Rain will also be available in the bike.

Other updates to the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will include features like ride-by-wire throttle. Heated grips can also be offered as an option. Along with this, users will also be able to choose from several options for the handlebar and handguard.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 Launched

The Himalayan 450 can be introduced at EICMA 2022 in November this year, while its launch can take place in early 2023. Once launched in India, it will compete with the BMW G310GS, Hero Xpulse 300 and KTM 390 Adventure.
