Nothing Phone (1) Price Hiked – Would You Buy At These New Prices?

It’s been over a month since the Nothing Phone (1) (Review) was launched and the hype of the phone has come to an end. There was a lot of criticism of this smartphone in India, but still people liked this smartphone to a large extent. But now the company is increasing the prices of its first smartphone Phone (1). It has been announced by Nothing that the price of this smartphone is increasing by Rs. 1,000 and they have given valid reasons for the same.

New Prices of Nothing Phone 1

Nothing released the Nothing OS 1.1.3 software in India this morning and announced the new prices of the phone with a tweet a few hours later. The smartphone was launched in three storage variants and has gone up by Rs. 1,000 on all.

Why Nothing Phone (1) Prices Rise

If the company is to be believed, “The price of this transparent smartphone has been increased due to fluctuations in the exchange rate of the Indian currency and due to the increase in the prices of the parts of the smartphone.”

But it is also important to know here that Phone (1) of Nothing is manufactured in India itself by a partner company in Tamil Nadu. In such a situation, the company could not keep the prices at the time of launch for long. This smartphone has received more than 10 million ‘Notify Me’ on Flipkart and the pre-order response is also good.

Phone (1) works on Snapdragon 778G+. What will attract you to the phone is the glyph interface, its semi-transparent design and the flashing LED lights on the rear panel. Apart from this, it is the only phone in this range that has wireless charging feature, although fast charging is only 33W.

Apart from this, this smartphone is available with 6.55-inch FHD + 120Hz flexible OLED display. The phone packs dual rear cameras, which include a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, and a 50MP ultra-wide sensor. Other features include up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage, Android 12 based Nothing OS, 5G support, IP53 certification and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
