SUV Cross Model of Maruti Suzuki Baleno Spotted

Maruti Suzuki continues to be the number one company in the passenger segment in the market by selling lakhs of cars every month in the country. Now Maruti plans to show its dominance in the SUV segment as well, for which the company is fully prepared.

In this segment, the company has recently brought its new compact SUV Brezza and mid-size SUV Grand Vitara. Now the company is preparing to bring an SUV model of Baleno soon.

New SUV spotted during testing

Maruti launched the facelift model of its premium hatchback Baleno in February this year itself. Let us tell you that this car is one of the top five cars in the country in terms of sales.

The company is now going to bring a new SUV based on this car, which has been spotted in Rohtak during testing. In media reports, it has been named Baleno Cross.

Maruti has codenamed it internally as YTB.

What is special about the look of this car?

The design of the Baleno Cross is somewhat similar to that of the Futuro-E that was showcased at the Auto Expo 2020. However, it has just been spotted with the cover on, so it is too early to draw any conclusions about it.

Maruti has opted for a crossover coupe bodystyle, but has also ensured that the interior space is not compromised. The roofline is not sloping backwards like that of the Futuro, but like that of the Baleno.

When will this SUV launch?

It is being told in the reports that this SUV will be presented at the Delhi Auto Expo 2023 to be held in January next year. It is expected that after a few months it will be launched in the market.

Right now it would be like shooting an arrow in the dark about its price, but one thing is certain that its prices will be kept less than the Maruti Grand Vitara.

Outfable Bytes

Maruti’s list of cars to be launched this year is also long, many of them have come in the market so far and many are going to be seen in the coming days.

It is being claimed in media reports that Maruti may launch the facelift model of its new Alto on August 18 itself, before announcing the prices of Grand Vitara in September.
