Besides the Delta and Zeta variants, the Grand Vitara is sold in two variants, the base variant Sigma and the top-end variant Alpha. Zeta and Alpha models also come with a powerful hybrid powertrain.
With the launch of the Grand Vitara S-CNG, Maruti Suzuki’s CNG offerings have expanded to 14 models. Grand Vitara is the only CNG-powered SUV to come with six airbags. Other features offered include a SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and built-in Next Gen Suzuki Connect with over 40 connectivity features.
The K series 1.5 liter, dual jet, dual VVT engine powering the Grand Vitara S-CNG is also used in several other Maruti vehicles. It produces 86.63 bhp at 5,500 rpm and a peak torque output of 121.5 Nm at 4,200 rpm. These power outputs are while running on CNG. Maruti Suzuki claims a fuel economy figure of 26.6 km/kg.

On petrol, power increases to 99 bhp at 6,000 rpm and maximum torque output rises to 136 Nm at 4,400 rpm. S-CNG models are only available with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Maruti Suzuki also offers a powerful hybrid powertrain with the Grand Vitara. It produces 114 bhp at 5,500 rpm and a maximum torque output of 122 Nm at 4,400-4,800 rpm. Mated only to the e-CVT automatic transmission. Grand Vitara is the only SUV in the segment to come with an all-wheel drive system. However, it is only available on K-series engines with manual gearboxes.
