Maruti Suzuki introduced the next-generation Brezza in June 2022 with significant style and feature upgrades. The model lineup comes in four trims: Lxi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+, priced from Rs 7.99 lakh to Rs 13.96 lakh (all, ex-showroom). . Reservations started 10 days before market launch and 45,000 orders were collected in this short period of time. Reservations for the new Maruti Brezza continue to pour in, extending waiting times up to six months in some cities.
Small SUVs command waiting periods of 3 months in Pune and Chennai and around 3-4 months in Bengaluru. Customers can get delivery from Mumbai in less than 4 months if they order this month. In Delhi, a new Brezza has a 6-month waiting period. The average waiting period for an SUV is about 3-4 months nationwide.

In December 2022, the Indo-Japanese automaker will launch a CNG version of the new Maruti Brezza. It is the first CNG SUV equipped with an automatic transmission in Korea. Brezza CNG has 7 variants: CNG LXI 5MT, CNG VXI 5MT/6AT, CNG ZXI 5MT/6AT and CNG ZXI 5MT/6T. For power, all variants are fitted with the same 1.5L K15C petrol engine as the factory fitted CNG kit. Mileage claimed on Maruti Ertiga with the same settings is 26.08 km/kg. Brezza CNG is expected to provide a fuel economy of around 25-30 km/kg.
The standard Brezza petrol model promises a claimed fuel economy of 19.80 kml with automatic transmission and 20.15 kmpl with manual transmission. The power and torque figures of the new Maruti Brezza CNG are slightly lower than those of the standard petrol version. In fact, CNG kits also take up boot space. The base model of the SUV offers 328 liters of boot space.
