Mahindra XUV300 Facelift interior leaked ahead of launch, SUV to get some interesting features

Mahindra and Mahindra will soon launch the facelift model of its popular subcompact SUV XUV300. Although the design of this upcoming car will not be much different than its outgoing model, but it will be given an updated petrol motor. Due to this, the performance of the car will be better than before. The current model of Mahindra XUV300 also generates the best torque in its segment with both petrol and diesel motors. Mahindra recently shared a teaser of the XUV300 facelift, which revealed the exteriors of the vehicle. In this, the Mahindra XUV300 Facelift can be seen with the company’s new Twin Peaks logo on the front grille and alloy wheels. Apart from this, the interiors of the XUV300 have been leaked even before the launch. The new logo can also be seen on the steering wheel of the new Mahindra SUV. Talking about the Mahindra XUV300 Facelift, it will get some cosmetic updates apart from the new logo. However, most of it looks similar to the current model. The XUV300 could get a much bigger interior, which could come with the best width and longest wheelbase in the segment.

Features of Mahindra XUV300 Facelift

Special features of XUV300 Facelift include premium leatherette upholstery, leather wrapped steering wheel, gear knob, dual-tone black, beige dashboard, 6-way adjustable driver seat, sunglasses holder, foldable front armrest with storage, flat second row floor, door handles. On includes chrome garnish.

The XUV300 can also get several segment-first features such as dual-zone automatic AC with memory settings, steering modes of Comfort/Normal/Sport and tire position display.

Other highlights will include an electric sunroof with anti-pinch, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, AUX and USB, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The XUV300 will also get engine start stop, power foldable ORVM with LED indicator, steering mounted controls, rain and light sensors, auto dimming IRVM, customized instrument cluster and Ecosense technology for better mileage.

Apart from this, connectivity features like Live Vehicle Tracking, Geo Fencing, Remote Function and Emergency Assist can be found in the car.

Performance of Mahindra XUV300 Facelift

The XUV300 will be powered by the same 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine as before. It generates maximum power of 115PS at 3,750 rpm and peak torque of 300Nm at 1,500-2,500 rpm. Apart from this, an updated turbo motor can be given in the petrol variant, which will generate around 130PS and 230Nm torque. That’s about 20PS and 30Nm more than the current 1.2-litre turbo petrol motor. Both the petrol and diesel engines will get 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options.

Talking about the safety kit of the car, it will include all 4 disc brakes, front parking sensors, 6 airbags, electronic stability program, ABS with EBD, corner braking control and tire pressure monitoring system.
