Mahindra Thar gets a brand new avatar, two colors left out of the list, Know details

The trend of lifestyle vehicles continues because of Mahindra Thar. Recently Mahindra and Mahindra updated the Thar SUV with a new logo. Along with this, the company has also added new buttons in it. According to reports, the company is preparing to bring its 5-door version. At the same time, Force Motor is preparing to bring a 5-door model of Gurkha to give competition to Thar. Along with this, the talk about the launch of Maruti Suzuki Jimny has also intensified. It is expected that it can be presented at the Auto Expo in 2023. In such a situation, Mahindra is updating its Thar to make it even better. Mahindra’s new Twin Peaks logo looks much better than the old one. Earlier, instead of this new logo, the letter “Mahindra” was written on Thar. However, its new model will now get a new logo on the inside and outside. Apart from this, the Twin Peak logo will also be found on the keys of the SUV.

New Buttons Added to Mahindra Thar

Apart from the new logo on the Mahindra Thar, the toggles under the auto AC (which controls the passenger airbag and hazard lights) have now changed slightly. It previously had three dummy toggles next to the hazard lights. These dummy buttons have now been allotted to ESP button, hill descent control button and door lock button.

Mahindra Thar Discontinued Two Color Options

Apart from these updates, Mahindra has discontinued two color options of the Thar – Mystic Copper and Rocky Beige. According to the reports, Thar can now be bought in only 4 colors. These include Red Rays, Aqua Marine, Galaxy Gray and Napoli Black. Only red and black, two color options are available in its manual variant.

Mahindra Thar Engine

Both petrol and diesel engine options are available in the 2022 Thar. These include a 2.2 late turbo diesel unit, which generates 130 bhp power and 300 Nm peak torque. The other is a 2.0-litre, mStalion petrol engine that generates 150 bhp power and 320 Nm peak torque. Both the engines are available with 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options.

  1. I am the owner of All New Mahindra Thar and obtaining 10750 kms. I had a problem on the drive shaft, there is a noise sound from the left shaft even from the right one,the left side made much more sound, are there any complaints from other owner?
