Domestic automotive majors Mahindra & Mahindra have added five new variants to their Scorpio-N lineup, ranging from entry-level to mid-spec. The SUV now gets up to 30 variants depending on engine (petrol/diesel), transmission (manual/automatic) and seating (6/7) options.
The entire Mahindra Scorpio-N range is priced between Rs 11.99 lakh and Rs 23.90 lakh (ex-showroom), and the five new models are priced from Rs 12.49 lakh to Rs 16.94 lakh (ex-showroom).

The five new variants are the Z2 G MT E (Petrol), Z2 D MT E (Diesel), Z4 G MT E (Petrol), Z4 D MT E (Diesel) and Z4 D MT 4WD E (Diesel). Below is the price (ex-showroom).

The Mahindra Scorpio-N is available with 2.0-liter mStallion TGDi petrol and 2.2-liter mHawk CRDi diesel engine options. The gasoline engine is a 6-speed MT with a maximum output of 203 PS and a maximum torque of 370 Nm, and a 6-speed AT with a maximum output of 203 PS and a maximum torque of 380 Nm. The diesel engine is a 6-speed MT with a maximum output of 175 PS and a maximum torque of 370 Nm, and a 6-speed AT with a maximum output of 175 PS and a maximum torque of 400 Nm. A less powerful avatar of a diesel unit making a maximum output of 132 PS and a maximum torque of 300 Nm is also available. The Scorpio-N diesel also has a 4WD option.
All five new variants of the Scorpio-N are available with manual transmission only. No automatic transmission option. However, there is a 4WD option.
As far as features go, all five new variants receive the Electronic Stability Program (ESP). The Z2 option boasts features like touchscreen infotainment, second-row AC vents, LED tail lamps, LED turn indicators and pentalink suspension. The Z4 and Z4 4WD models feature an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment and second wow AC module compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Z4 also has a full fabric upholstery, but the Z4 4WD has an optional (shift-on-fly) 4WD system.
