New Delhi : Mahindra and Mahindra has officially announced the launch of its 5 new electric SUVs in the market. Mahindra introduced these electric SUVs at a mega event organized in London yesterday by the company. The company named its event as Born Electric Vision. The 5 XUVs that Mahindra is going to launch in the market are XUV.e8, XUV.e9, BE.05, BE.07 and BE.09. The company says that it will be the first to put the BE range of XUV on sale in the market. This XUV will be available for sale in the market by 2025. The company has used Volkswagen’s MEB platform component to decide on these XUVs which are based on the INGLO EV platform.

at Born Electric Vision INGLO platform use
Mahindra Company has used the Born Electric model platform INGLO for these XUVs. In future, Mahindra’s electric vehicles will be built on the INGLO platform. This platform has been created for this purpose. The company says that in these electric SUVs, you are going to get seating features like Mahindra’s XUV 700, but it is going to be quite different in appearance. In this EV, you will get to see a close-off front grille along with a full LED light bar at the front. At the front, there are bumper mounted headlamps and a sculpted bonnet. Its rear part can be seen to a great extent like the XUV700.
What will be special in the design of XUV.e9?
Mahindra will launch its new XUV.e9 electric SUV by April 2025. The company has given it a brand new electric model, its model comes with a coupe-like design. The Mahindra XUV.e9 electric SUV will measure 4,790mm in length, 1,905mm in width and 1,690mm in height. It will be a 5-seater model and will be powered by a 2,775mm long wheelbase.
What will the XUV.e9 model be like?
The design inspiration of the new XUV.e9 is taken from the XUV Aero concept. The close-off front grille with LED lights and bumper is shared with the XUV.e8 on this XUV. It has a coupe-like design at the back with a flat tail section. It is likely to share the battery pack and electric motors with the electric XUV.e8.
