Mahindra Thar 5-door variant: Price around Rs 15 lakh
Mahindra is working on a new 5-door variant of the Thar. Compared to the current model, the 5-door variant Thar is expected to include a 15 percent longer wheelbase and a redesigned body. Also having seats in the second row will make it much bigger.
Like the current Thar, it is expected to be powered by a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that churns out 150bhp and 320Nm of peak torque.
Force Gurkha 5-door variant: Price around Rs 16 lakh
Force Motors launched the facelift variant of its Force Gurkha SUV in India only last year. Now the company is planning to launch a 5-door variant, which will get a 9-seater cabin.
It gets a front grille, LED headlights and taillights with ‘Gurkha’ logo instead of the company logo.
The new Gurkha SUV will get a 2.6-litre diesel engine that meets BS6 standards. This engine generates 90hp power and 260Nm of torque.
Mahindra Bolero Neo Plus: Price around Rs 10 lakh
Mahindra launched its new Bolero Neo in August last year. It is reported that now the company is working on its new Neo Plus variant, which can be launched soon.
If reports are to be believed, the company will launch the new Neo Plus variant with a new 2.2-litre diesel engine in 7-seater and 9-seater cabin options.
To attract the customers, Mahindra has launched its TUV300 under the name Bolero Neo.
Toyota Innova Hybrid: Price approx Rs 18 lakh
Japan’s leading automaker Toyota is about to launch a facelift variant of its best selling car Innova.
The company is bringing its new Innova in a hybrid avatar, which has also been spotted several times during testing on the roads. The company had also trademarked the name ‘Innova Hycross’ a few months back.
According to the reports, it can be launched around Diwali.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny: Price between Rs 10 to 12 lakh approx
Maruti Suzuki is going to launch the 5-door variant of the Jimny by the end of this year. The five-door Jimny will measure 3850mm in length, 1645mm in width and 1730mm in height. At the same time, its wheelbase will be 2550mm.
It will be powered by a 1.5-litre K15B petrol engine that is capable of producing 101bhp power at 6,000rpm and 130Nm torque at 4,000rpm.
For safety, it will get six airbags, antilock braking system (ABS), electronic stability control.
Tata Safari Facelift: Price between Rs 16 to 18 lakh approx
The country’s leading automaker Tata Motors may soon launch the Tata Safari Facelift in the Indian market.
Its testing has also started. It can get a choice of Kryotec 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel and 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine. Most of the features of the car will be similar to its current model.
In India, this car will be brought with Advanced Driving Assistance System (ADAS) technology and 360 degree view camera.
