Kawasaki is about to bring two new bikes. One of these will be Electric Bike and the other Hybrid Bike (HEV). Recently both these bikes have been spotted while testing. In such a situation, it is expected that the company can launch it soon.
At present, Kawasaki has not announced the launch of these bikes but it is expected that it can be launched in the global market by the end of this year. Although Kawasaki has not revealed the names of both its upcoming bikes, they have been codenamed NX and NR.
Features of Kawasaki Electric Bike
The styling of the Kawasaki Electric Bike is similar to the Z range of motorcycles. Highlights include an attractive front fascia, sinewy fuel tank design, step-up split seats, tail section, standard telescopic front forks and rear swingarm. Apart from this, the bike also gets a very committed riding stance with low-set handlebars and slightly rear-set footpegs.
Kawasaki’s new electric bike is expected to get a strong battery pack with zero body paneling. However, it is not clear whether a stable battery will be given in it or it will come with a swappable setup. According to the leaked details, the Kawasaki electric bike generates maximum power of 15PS.
What will be special in Kawasaki Hybrid Bike
Features of the Kawasaki Hybrid Bike include sharp dual headlamps, compact windscreen, sharp panels, step-up seats and upswept exhaust. According to reports, this bike has a twin-cylinder motor and its exhaust is very similar to the Ninja 250. Multiple air intakes can be seen in this, which will work to cool the motor and battery system. Apart from this, regular telescopic forks and monoshock rear suspension were given in the bike.
The braking setup of the upcoming bike has dual discs at the front, which look quite attractive.
