Toyota’s 7-seater multi purpose car (MPV) Innova is in great demand in the Indian market. The company has sold 10 lakh units of this vehicle since its launch.

Let us know that the company’s Innova car is the oldest MPV available in the country. It was launched in February 2005 and has received several updates from time to time.
Currently, the company is also working on its Hycross variant.

How will the design of the Innova facelift be?

Talking about the design, many updates will be seen in Innova Hycross. It will be based on a body-on-frame chassis similar to the Hilux.

At the rear, a shark-fin antenna, boot-spoiler and new bumpers with vents can be given.

In terms of dimensions, it will be slightly bigger than the current model and in terms of looks, it will look even more attractive than before.


New Innova may come with front wheel drive

The new Toyota Innova Hycross is likely to be offered in a front-wheel-drive layout, with petrol and petrol-hybrid engine options.

The petrol engine could be the same unit that is seen in the current Innova, while the petrol hybrid unit could be all new.
Currently, the Innova comes in a 2.4-litre diesel engine and a 2.7-litre petrol engine option, which generates 166bhp of power and 245Nm of peak torque.

These features will be available in the cabin

Updated features could include a multi-terrain monitor, which gives the driver a bird’s eye view for easier parking or for navigating uneven terrain.

Apart from this, the car is expected to get a heads-up display, wireless charger with door edge lighting.
An 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment console can also be given for connectivity in the upcoming Innova. For safety, it can be provided with multiple airbags.

What will be its cost?

The price and availability of the new Toyota Hycross in the Indian market will be informed at the time of its launch. However, it is being estimated that its starting price will be around Rs 13 to 17 lakhs.
