Hyundai Stargazer MPV launched, will compete with Suzuki Ertiga and Kia Carens

Hyundai has launched its Stargazer 3-row MPV. The new MPV will compete with the likes of Suzuki Ertiga and XL7, Kia Carens, Toyota Avanza & Veloz, Mitsubishi Xpander and Daihatsu Xenia.

At the rear, the Stargazer gets ‘H’ pattern LED tail-lights which can also be seen on the new Venue.

The cabin of the Hyundai Stargazer 3-row MPV gets a small tray, cup holder, extra pockets, picnic table and many more storage space. It gets a tall and slim dashboard with minimum buttons for AC and other controls. The new model will come with two seating layouts with 6- and 7-seat options, with captain seats in the second row.

Apart from this, it is also equipped with 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, wireless smartphone charger, seat back table, 4.2-inch TFT color LCD cluster and a multi-functional steering wheel. It gets Hyundai Bluelink connected car technology, which allows the smartphone to be connected to the car.

The new Stargazer MPV gets Advanced Driver Assistant System (ADAS) support, which includes Forward Collision-Evidence Assist (FCA), Lane Keeping Assist (LKA), Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA) and Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Assist. There are features.

Hyundai Stargazer MPV Engine
The new Hyundai Stargazer MPV is powered by a 1.5-litre 4-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine. It generates 115PS of power at 6,300rpm and 144Nm of peak torque at 4,500rpm. Transmission options include 6-speed manual and IVT (Intelligent Variable Transmission). Apart from this, the fuel tank of 40-liter capacity is available in this MPV.

Hyundai Stargazer MPV Price
The new Stargazer MPV has been launched in Indonesia for the time being. It comes in 4 variants Active, Trend, Style and Prime. It is priced between IDR 243,300,000 (approximately Rs 12.91 lakh) and IDR 307,100,000 (approximately Rs 16.30 lakh).

The new Stargazer is expected to be launched in India as well. The Indian model can get 1.5L NA petrol, 1.5L turbo diesel and 1.4L turbo petrol engine options. There will be both manual and automatic gearbox options with it.
