Hyundai Creta facelift to give tough competition to Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq and MG Astor, know price

Hyundai Creta facelift 2022: As the current version of Creta 3 is set to compete, there’s no better time for Hyundai to showcase the new Creta facelift than at Auto Expo.

Hyundai Motor Company had unveiled the current-generation Creta at the 2020 Auto Expo. After a gap of over a year, Hyundai is all set to make a comeback in January 2023. Hyundai Crete facelifts are already sold in global markets such as Thailand, South Africa and Brazil.

The Thai-spec Hyundai Creta facelift boasts a new face similar to the recently launched Hyundai Tucson. The LED DRL merges seamlessly with the grille and when turned off looks like a single unit. LED headlamps are located under the bumper. Other changes include a sculpted tailgate and fine-tuned LED taillights.

Inside, the 2022 Hyundai Creta facelift has a few new features, but it’s likely done with the same design. You can expect the addition of blind spot monitoring, 360-degree parking cameras and a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).

In terms of powertrain, the 2022 Creta facelift will continue to be offered with 1.5L regular petrol, 1.5L turbo diesel and 1.4L turbo petrol engines. Transmission options include 6-speed manual, 6-speed automatic clutch manual, CVT, 6-speed torque converter automatic and 7-speed dual-clutch automatic.

In 2022, the Hyundai Creta facelift will compete with other C-segment SUVs such as the Kia Seltos, Volkswagen Tiger, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, and the upcoming Toyota Urban Cruiser Highrider and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara.
