Royal Enfield has taken a huge leap since Diwali. The company has unveiled its new bike, the Super Meteor 650. As the name suggests, it comes with a 650cc engine. First, talking about its looks, this cruiser bike has an upright riding position, a proper retro design, a tear-drop shaped fuel tank, fenders for the rear tire and a round LED headlight. There are no grabbers on its seat. Overall, its design is inspired by the Meteor 350. You can call it the elder brother of Metro 350. It has Royal Enfield badging on its tank. The biggest highlight is the cast-aluminum switch cubes, a first for any Royal Enfield bike.

Talking about the platform after the look, the company hasn’t made any major changes to it. That is, the company has only built the Super Meteor on the 650 Twins platform. However, it has a new tubular steel frame that will give you more comfortable pagination.

As for the engine and performance, like the platform, there are no major changes. That means you get the same 648cc parallel-twin oil / air-cooled engine that churns out 47bhp of maximum power at 7250rpm and 52.3Nm of peak torque at 5650rpm.

Talking about the suspension, the front gets 120mm of travel up front with 43mm upside down forks, a first to be found on any Royal Enfield bike. At the same time, dual shock absorbers are provided at its rear.
