The new Vitara will get a lot of parts like the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder. According to the teaser, the new SUV from Maruti Suzuki will replace the S-Cross. As per the teaser visuals, the Maruti Grand Vitara will get split LED headlamps and a stretch LED light bar at the rear.
Features of Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara
The new Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will be Maruti Suzuki’s most feature-rich vehicle to date. It is expected to get features like Toyota Hyryder. It will get features like panoramic sunroof, full-TFT instrument console, split headlamps with LED DRL, LED projector, stretched LED light bar and LED tail lamps with drive mode selector. Apart from this, head-up display, ventilated front seats, wireless charger, 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, powered driver seat, 6 airbags can also be found in the upcoming SUV.
The company claims that the Grand Vitara will come with the largest panoramic sunroof in its segment.
Engine of Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara
Like the Hyryder, the new Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will be offered with two powertrain options. The first could be the 1.5-litre four-cylinder naturally-aspirated K15C petrol engine. It generates 103 PS of power and 136.8 Nm of peak torque. It will come with mild hybrid technology. It will get the option of 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox.
Apart from this, there will also be an option of a full-hybrid powertrain, which could come with a 1.5-litre engine and 177.6 V lithium-ion battery. The SUV will get the option of EV mode and Drive mode.
After its launch in India, the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara will compete with cars like the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
