Citroen C3 Electric will compete with Tiago EV
Tata Motors recently announced that it will bring the electric Tiago. At the same time, Tata Tigor EV and Nexon EV are already present in the company’s lineup. After its launch in India, the Electric Citroen C3 will compete with the upcoming Tiago EV.
Citroen C3 Engine
Citroen has introduced the C3 hatchback in India with two petrol engine options. One of these is a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine, which generates 82 PS of power. On the other hand, there is a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which generates power of 110 PS. Both these powertrains come with manual gearbox options.
Citroen C3 Electric Range
At present, not much details of the Citroen C3 Electric have been revealed yet. In some reports, it has been said to be offered in two variant options just like the petrol model. The all-electric version of the Citroen C3 is expected to get an all-new powertrain. In this, the electric motor will power the front wheels and will get a lithium-ion battery. As a competition, the Citroen C3 Electric can get a range of 200-250 kms on a single full charge.
Citroen C3 Electric Price
It is believed that the Citroen C3 Electric Car will be launched at a price between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 15 lakh. This price will be according to the ex-showroom.
