BSA Gold Star 650 will be launched in India soon, know the details from design to engine

Design of BSA Gold Star 650

This BSA bike is built on a tubular steel, dual-cradle frame. At the same time, its design is like the original BSA Gold Star bike. It gets a teardrop shaped fuel tank and reverse sweep instruments. While the bike has a halogen headlamp, it has an LED taillamp. The BSA Gold Star 650 bike has a 12-litre fuel tank and its weight is 213 kg.

Apart from this, the retro-bike comes assembled with 18-inch front, 17-inch rear wheels and Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp tyres.

Features of BSA Gold Star 650

Some of its key features include a twin-pod analog speedometer and tachometer with LCD multi-functional display, handlebar-mounted USB charger and slipper clutch.

Engine of BSA Gold Star 650

For power, the BSA Gold Star 650 bike has a 652cc, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine with DOHC setup. This engine generates maximum power of 45bhp at 6,000rpm and 55Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm. It gets a 5-speed gearbox with it.

Suspension and braking of BSA Gold Star 650

For suspension duty, the bike has 41mm telescopic forks and twin rear shock absorbers. Apart from this, braking power comes from single disc front and rear brakes with Brembo calipers and dual channel ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System).

BSA Gold Star 650 Price

The BSA Gold Star 650 is priced at £6500 (approximately Rs 6.23 lakh) in the UK. However, due to local production, it is expected to cost around Rs 2.9 lakh in India. Once launched in the Indian market, the BSA Gold Star 650 will compete with the facelifted models of bikes like the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the Kawasaki Z650RS.
