Toyota Urban Cruiser Highrider
The mid-size SUV Urban Cruiser Highrider can prove to be a great car for Japanese automaker Toyota. This is the company’s first car in this segment after a long time.
Toyota had on September 9 made public the prices of its hybrid model, which starts at Rs 15.11 lakh.
The C-segment SUV gets a 1.5-litre K series petrol engine with mild-hybrid and strong-hybrid options.
China’s automobile company BYD, which makes the world’s largest electric vehicles, is ready to launch its second vehicle ‘Atto-3’ in the Indian market. Its launch has been kept on October 11.
Some time back, the company had launched its electric car e6 in the passenger segment in India.
Talking about the powertrain, this SUV will come with a 60.48kWh battery pack, which will be capable of covering a distance of 480 kms on a single charge.
Veteran automaker MG Motors is about to launch the facelift variant of its Hector in October. For this, the company has also released a teaser of the cabin of this SUV.
The company is going to offer a new infotainment system in the facelift variant of Hector, which is much bigger than before.
Along with this, many changes will also be made in the exterior of the car. However, there will be no change in its engine.
Lexus has taken the wraps off the Japanese market with its luxury SUV UX. This luxury crossover car has been introduced with a brand new and bold design. It will be launched with a new powertrain option, the information of which has not been made public yet.
The company can offer this car in the Indian market in October. However, it will be available for sale only after its official launch.
Apart from these, many new cars are to be launched by the end of this month, in which Maruti Suzuki is going to launch Grand Vitara on 26 September. However, it is almost identical to Toyota’s Urban Cruiser Highrider in terms of specs.
