The new prepaid recharge plans have been listed on Airtel’s website. The validity of Airtel’s Rs 519 plan is 60 days and the validity of Rs 779 recharge plan is 90 days. Both the recharge plans offer similar benefits. With the new recharge plan, customers get 1.5GB 4G data daily and 100 SMS daily. In this, unlimited local, STD and roaming calls are also available on any network in India.
With Airtel’s recharge plans of Rs 519 and Rs 779, customers will be able to enjoy 3-month membership of Apollo 24/7 circle at no extra cost. The new plan also offers 100 cashback on FASTag recharge, free Hello Tunes and Wynk Music subscription. Internet speed will be reduced to 64KBps when the daily quota is exhausted.
Airtel recently announced that its average revenue per user in the second quarter had increased from Rs 146 to Rs 183 in the past one year. The same metric went up to Rs 175.7 for Reliance Jio in the same quarter. The company said that mobile data consumption also increased by 16.6 per cent, while the per subscriber consumption stood at 19.5 GB per month.
Telecom company Jio, which rivals Airtel, has introduced a prepaid recharge plan, offering customers benefits worth Rs 2,999 along with a recharge of Rs 2,999. The recharge plan was named ‘2999 Independence Offer 2022’. With recharge of Rs 2,999, customers will get 75GB data, coupons for Netmeds, AJIO and Ixigo.
