2023 Tata Harrier Facelift was seen heavily disguised on road, comes with ADAS Technology

Tata Motors Harrier 5 Seater premium SUV was launched in Korea in 2019. This SUV is due for a major update, and Tata has also started testing a facelift model. The 2023 Tata Harrier facelift model, which is scheduled to be released in 2023, will introduce a major design change and upgraded interior. It is expected that Tata is also preparing an electric version of the Harrier SUV.

The model found was heavily disguised. However, the photo reveals some interesting details. The new model has a new front grille with horizontal slats and major modifications to the front fascia featuring an air dam. The air dam has an integrated radar, which is best suited for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

The new model will likely get new LED headlamps and LED DRLs along with new alloy wheels. The rear profile of the SUV has the same set of LED taillights. It will most likely feature a redesigned bumper.

The report claims that the 2023 Tata Harrier will feature a larger touchscreen than the existing 8.8-inch display, and will likely feature new features such as a 360-degree camera, an updated instrument cluster and new connected car technology. It will continue to offer features such as a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats and an electrically adjustable driver’s seat.

The 2023 Tata Harrier facelift also comes with ADAS technology with features such as forward collision detection, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic warning, blind spot detection and more. It will continue to offer features like six airbags, ESP, heel hold assist and rear parking sensors.

It is most likely to retain the existing 2.0-litre diesel engine producing 170PS of output and 350Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a six-speed manual and six-speed torque converter automatic.

The new Tata Harrier facelift will be unveiled at the 2023 Auto Expo in January. The new model could go on sale in the first half of 2023. The company is also testing the Safari facelift, which is expected to launch in 2023.
