2022 Maruti Alto K10 launch date released, features shown in the new teaser

Maruti Suzuki will launch its entry-level hatchback 2022 Maruti Alto K10 in India on August 18. Official booking for this has started. Buyers can book it online or at an authorized dealership by paying a token amount of Rs 11,000.

Recently, ahead of the official launch of the 2022 Maruti Suzuki Alto K10, the company has teased the automatic variant of the hatchback.

Variants of 2022 Maruti Alto K10

The new teaser reveals some key details of the upcoming Alto K10 AMT. It will be built on Suzuki’s HEARTECT platform. The Maruti Celerio, S-Presso and WagonR are also built on the same platform. The new model will be offered in a total of 12 variants, which will include 8 manual and 4 automatic models.

2022 Maruti Alto K10 Size

Due to the new lightweight platform, the new Alto K10 will be bigger than the existing Alto. According to Leaks, it will be 3,530mm in length, 1,520mm in height and 1,490mm in width. At the same time, it could have a wheelbase of 2,380mm, which is about 20 mm more than the current model. Apart from this, the car has a 17-litre Kaka fuel tank and a boot space of 177-litres can be given.

Features of 2022 Maruti Alto K10

According to the latest teaser of 2022 Alto K10, its top model will be equipped with many user comfort features. According to reports, the new entry-level hatchback may come with an all-black interior scheme. Apart from this, it will come with features like 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, four power windows, electrically adjustable wing mirrors, manual air conditioning and keyless entry.

Apart from this, the hatchback will get dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, seat belt reminder, speed alert and many standard safety features.

2022 Maruti Alto K10 Engine

According to reports, a 3-cylinder, 1.0-litre K10C dual-jet petrol engine can be given in the 2022 Maruti Alto K10. The same engine has been given in the Celerio and S-Presso. This engine generates power of 67bhp at 6,000rpm and peak torque of 89Nm at 3,500rpm. Transmission options with this will include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed automatic.

It is expected that after launching the new Alto, its CNG version will also be brought.
